Training for peace and reconciliation- Youth Peace Ambassadors

On 29-30 July 2019, was organized a two-day training with young people from different ethnic groups on the topic of peace and reconciliation!

Within the frames of the "Youth building peace" project, we organized the training for Youth Peace Ambassadors, where the youngsters through different activities had the chance to learn more about this topic and it's importance.

Stay tuned to learn about the activities that we will implement together with our Youth Peace Ambassadors, with the main aim to contribute for peace in our society and for a social dialogue.

The project Divided Past- Joint Future is being realized in the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey, and the leading partner in the project is OKC Banjaluka. The project is funded by the European Union.

Transnational meeting

During the period 1-4 July, representatives of Multikultura and other partner organizations, attended the second transnational meeting within the Wake Up project, where it was discussed about the flow of the project and methods for higher youth involvment.

Until the next meeting in Croatia, stay tuned for further developments.

Public debate of the "CSOs impACT for YOUth" project.

While we are doing the preparations for the second public debate regarding the Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo 2020-2022, we will present you some of the main recommendations from the first public debate with youngsters, representatives of the civil society organizations and representatives of the Municipality of Tetovo.

During the public debate which was held last Friday, the participants emphasized the need of functional Youth Council within the Municipality of Tetovo, which would ensure a successful implementation of the Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo 2020-2022.

Stay tuned to learn about other recommendations and about the date of the second debate.

The activities of this project are supported by Mladiinfo through the project Youth Bank Hub Western Balkan and Turkey, which is financed by the European Union and implemented by 5 organizations from the region Mladiinfo from Macedonia, Fondacija Ana i Vlade Divac from Serbia, Nvo Prima from Montenegro, Partners Albania for Change and Development from Albania and Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı - TOG from Turkey.

Public debate: Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo

"Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo", was the public debate, which was organized today within the project CSOs impACT for youth.

Representatives of the Municipality of Tetovo, representatives of non-governmental organizations, Career Center at the South East European University and students gathered to discuss about the draft version of the Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo 2020-2022.

They discussed about the shortcomings and improvements of the strategy and were presented the results of the questionnaires with the young people as well as the obstacles of the existing Local Youth Strategy of the Municipality of Tetovo. A given base of recommendations for improving the strategy derived from this public debate, but at the same time, it served as a good opportunity for further cooperation between the representatives of the local authorities and the civil society organizations, and other stakeholders working with youth.

Another successfully implemented project and signed memorandum of cooperation!

As grantee of the project “Improving the active involvement of Macedonian CSOs in the decision-making process by strengthening newly established CSOs”, representatives of Multikultura attended the final conference organized by PREDA Plus Foundation, where were presented the results of all grantees financed under the frames of this project.

Except this, we signed a memorandum of cooperation, which aims to further develop and nourish cooperation between CSO in order to improve their position in decision-making processes.

We are beyond thankful to the team of Preda Plus Foundation for their continuous support during the project implementation.
