This week Sam Blurton will join us in the Volunteer Academy to talk more about Youth Activism.
Sam is very passionate about Human Rights and Youth work. Currently Sam is volunteering in Tetovo as part of the Peace Corps Volunteers and will contribute to our community on the next upcoming two years.

Third week of Volunteer Academy is successfully realized!
During this week, the participants of the academy had the chance to learn how to write a CV and motivational letter.

The model of youth banks was presented to the representatives of the Municipality of Bogovinje!

Representatives of Multikultura, as a member of the Youth Banks Network Macedonia - YBNM, organized a meeting with the representatives of the Municipality of Bogovinje, where it was discussed how these youth banks can contribute towards more active youth in local level, as well as to gain life and employment skills.
The model of youth banks foresees the establishment of youth funds in municipal level, in which besides the municipality, participates the business community and/or the civil sector.
Youth funds are leaded by the young people and through them are supported small projects prepared by the young people.
The project Youth Banks Network Macedonia is supported by USAID's Civic Engagement Project.

Mladiinfo International that is leading Youth Banks Network Macedonia is officially part of YouthBank International family!
Youth Banks Network Macedonia encompassing 13 organizations in total from 4 regions in the country: Skopje, Pelagonija, Polog and Southwest region is the initiative that will actively work on brining YouthBank model to Macedonia, supported by Civic Engagement Project-Macedonia. And now all our efforts are strengthened with this inspiring partnership where we can directly learn how to advocate for youth employment and activism from our colleagues in YouthBank International.
YouthBank International has been operating since June 2014 and it has achieved notable success in the past 4 years, scaling the YouthBank proposition to over 200 sites, supported by 26 networks on 4 continents and funding over 4500 small scale projects. The YouthBank ethos and model is based on a simple, flexible and transferable idea: YouthBanks are funds, run by young people, to support youth-led grass root projects that address community issues that matter to them.

Call for application for a two day seminar on the topic “Stop discrimination, value diversity”

Association Multikultura within the frames of the project “Cultural Diversity Week” organizes two day seminar on the topic “Stop discrimination, value diversity”.
Applicants should fulfill these criteria:
-Age 15-18 years old
-Be a resident of Macedonia
-Willingly to learn the methods for overcoming prejudices and stereotypes
The training will be organized between 07 and 08 July 2018, in the premises of Hotel Arena Teteks.
