Association Multikultura is proud to announce the 8th edition of Cultural Diversity Week.
Cultural Diversity Week 2018 will start on 30 April 2018 and it will last till 05 May 2018.
This week will include these activities:

- Petition for the rights of the workers
02 May 2018 –Diversity Day in Gostivar
- Day Care Center in Gostivar
- Book promotion by Lulzim Haziri

- Workshop for overcoming prejudices and stereotypes
- Panel discussion “The road towards the success”
04 May 2018- Cultural Gala Day
- Cultural Gala Day at the Center for Culture starting from 12:00 o’clock
- Movie projection at the city center

Training on finding new donors

Part of our institutional grant by Civica Mobilitas is improvement of Organizations capacities through staff training. In reaching the excellence in our performance, Multikultura’s team on March 26, 2018 attended the training on finding new donors.
Through the training, our staff learned how to find new donors and how to conduct effective communication with them.
Association Multikultura is leaded by the idea that the best investment that an organization can do, is the investment in building the capacities of the organization.

“Brain drain in Macedonia”, discussion panel of Youth Council of the US Embassy in Macedonia

On March 15, a member of Multikultura participated in the discussion panel of Youth Council of the US Embassy in Macedonia, where it was discussed over the issue of Brain drain in Macedonia.
During the meeting it was discussed about the causes and effects of this situation and participants discussed over potential solutions regarding brain drain.
This was one of many meeting the YCUS Macedonia will conduct within the frames of this project.

Multikultura participates at the yearly assembly of Coalition All For Fair Trails

As a member organization of the Coalition All For Fair Trails, representative of Multikultura participated at the yearly assembly.
During the assembly, the Executive Board discussed about the work of the Coalition All for Fair Trails.
Our member, Blerim Salihi is elected as the newest member of the Supervisory Board of Coalition All for Fair Trials with 9 pro-votes.

Train the trainers!

During 16th, 17th and 18th February 2018, Association Mutlikultura in collaboration with NCBI (National Coalition Building Institute) organized the annual Train the Trainers Training.
Through various methods of NCBI, 31 participants had the chance to learn how to overcome their prejudices and stereotypes that they have towards people of other groups and beliefs. People from all over Macedonia, including Albanians, Macedonians and Romas, were brought together on discussing how they think other judge them on the society and finding peaceful ways to overcome and stop prejudices based on different grounds such as: gender, age, color, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, social status, living in the city or village and other.
The participants also had the opportunity to listen to the new and ongoing projects of Multikultura, and together they had the opportunity to share the ideas and show their interests on joining in these activities.
