
Multikultura participated at the Career Fair SEEU

On 26th of April, Multikultura for years in a row participated in the Career Fair, which is organized by the Career Center of the South East European University. The students of this university had the chance to learn more about Multikultura, the activities and the opportunities which we offer for them. Our tent was visited by many students who were interested for employment, internship and volunteering positions.
Happening for the 12th time, this year's SEEU Career Fair brought more than 50 companies and organizations at SEEU Campus and it was a great chance for the students to meet some of their future employers.

Building relations workshop

Today, on 12th of Apil 2017, Multikultura as a member of the network UNITED, within the European Action Week Against Racism 2017 campaign, organized a workshop in the primary school "Kirili and Metodij" Tetovo. There was a group of 20 mixed participants from different ethnicities such as Albanians, Macedonians and Roma students from the eighth and ninth grade from this school who were actively involved in the topics discussed by our volunteers, who were at the same time the trainers of this workshop.
This year the campaign slogan was "Don't be divided, Stay UNITED". Hundreds of civil society groups all over Europe organised activities to mark the Action Week and stood up against racism, division and hate.
The workshop was about "Building relations" where our volunteers discussed with the participants how to build the bridge of understanding between brothers, neighbors, nations and religions.

Train the Trainers!

During the 10th , 11th and 12th of March 2017, in the offices of Multikultura, took part now the annual Train the Trainer Training, brought in collaboration by NCBI (Nacional Coalition Building Institute) international organization with headquarters in USA and Multikultura. 30 participants were certified in the topic "By understanding, overcoming prejudices and stereotypes" and became Trainers, after finishing the 8 hour per day intensive course on these matters. People from all over Macedonia, including Albanians, Macedonians and Romas, also a participant from Kosovo, were brought together on discussing how they think other judge them on the society and finding peaceful ways to overcome and stop prejudices based on different grounds such as: gender, age, color, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, social status, living in the city or village and other.
The participants also had the opportunity to listen to the new and ongoing projects of Multikultura, and together they had the opportunity to share the ideas and show their interests on joining in these activities.
