The two-day training with representatives of Local Economic and Social Council of the Municipality of Tetovo was successfully implemented, in cooperation with MKC Bitola and the Local Economic and Social Council of the Municipality of Tetovo, within the project “Enhancing social dialogue in the community”, financed by Olof Palme International Center and supported by Swedish Government.
The main aim of the training was to strengthen and support the work of this council by strengthening the knowledge and skills of its members for better and more efficient participation in decision-making process.
The training also served for planning and preparation of initiatives for solving socio-economic problems in our community.
Association Multikultura and Youth Cultural Center- Bitola as part of the seminar Participation in the decision-making on local level, initiated and assisted in the election of the new composition of the Socio-Economic Council of the Municipality of Tetovo, for the following mandate.

Second day of the Training for social dialogue with trade unions- with the main aim to increase trade unions capacities to participate actively in the process of social dialogue at the sectoral and national levels.
As part of the training process it was developed a shared understanding of what Social Dialogue is, what benefits it can bring to practical trade union work and what challenges it presents. Secondly, the training offered space for trade union members/representatives to share the experiences they already have. Thirdly, building on such experiences, it provided an opportunity for developing strategies for strengthening Social Dialogue in the different national contexts. One of the training modules was gender mainstreaming - a crucial and transversal topic in all social dialogue processes.
