Youth building peace”

The overall objective of the project is nurturing and empowering youth to be advocates of peace and social life for positive changes in their own community.

Specific objectives of the project are:
-Building the capacities of young people for peace and reconciliation
-Creating a Peace Center for research and future peace activities
-Resuming social dialogue and bridging divides through two sports tournaments
-Bringing together people from different ethnic groups through art and social activities

Through the implementation of the project activities, the following results were achieved:
-24 trained youth peace ambassadors
-Raised awareness about existing cultures in Macedonia and improvement of multi-ethnic relations through art V
-Transformation of 3 murals from hate into peace messages
-Organized two sports tournaments
-Established Peace Center that offers opportunities for youth to be engaged in activities that promote peace and active citizenship.
