“Jobs instead of corruption”

“Jobs instead of corruption” (01.01.2011-30.06.2011), was a successful implemented project for youth access to employment funded by NCBI. The objectives of the project were to increase awareness on the issue of corruption and provide concrete support on how to defend oneself; promoting voluntary work as part of fairness and solidarity, rather than the corrupt society, with young people as the best example; recognition of numerous internships for students in the last year of study; young people learned how to successfully find a job (application training). We were able to provide a total of 8 internships, 5 of them in NGOs and 3 in business. Unfortunately, the cooperation with the companies proved to be more difficult than expected and we could not provide the desired numbers of internships. Through this project, young people learned how to protect themselves from corruption, facilitated direct access to work by providing qualitative internships for young people, which gave them valuable work experience and enabled them to enter a permanent position. In the second application process, the participants learned to create professional application documents in order to improve their chances on the labor market.
